Former Ghanaian President John Jerry Rawlings is dead.
Rawlings died Thursday morning at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana.
Though the cause of death is not clear at the time of this report, sources attributed his demise to Covid-19 complications
World leaders and admirers of the former air force officer have described him as a great leader and worthy ambassador of Africa.
